So the blog went quiet for awhile.  I have been sick.  Seems every October with the advent of cold weather I get this cold. But this Italian bug held on for a while.  Lets of fluids and plenty of rest and even a visit to the Doctor. The wheezing is finally disappearing.

Tomorrow, we all fly to Malta.  My computer is staying home so the blog will be quiet until we get back on November 6.

This is going to be quite an immersion in the life and writings of St. Paul.  You will all be in my prayers while I am on this pilgrimage.  If you have any intentions please leave them in the comments.  I will be able to retrieve the comments on my cell phone

The Holy Rosary

Today is the Memorial of the Most Holy Rosary.  There are a couple of choices for the readings.  The readings of the day give us the gospel of the "Our Father" from Luke.  The readings of the memorial give us the story of the Annunciation, a gospel that is often used for feasts around Christmas or devoted to the Virgin Mary.  It was the gospel of December 20, 2014 and I preached on that day at St. Edward.
